It was the first time to exhibit my puppet in a gallery. This puppet is titled ' Self Curled', one of my favorite puppet! The opening night was last Friday and it was full of people from the conference.

ICON The Illustration Conference, the 6th biennial, one-of-a-kind, global conference unites more than 600 highly-skilled, highly-educated, independent, entrepreneurial illustrators, educators, students and creative professionals from all media.

In conjunction with the 2010 Sunny Side Up conference held in Los Angeles, Gallery Nucleus is pleased to present a select group of work from this year's contributors featuring over 50 artists in all. Absorb an inspiring array of fresh ideas from the contemporary world of illustration presenting a mixture of mediums.

Come and check out my puppet 'Self Curled'. Today, I was told that Red nose studio is going to be in the show too! I cannot wait to see his work! The opening Reception is Jul 16, 7:00PM - 11:00PM and I'm going to be around after 8 pm. See you there!

This puppet was made a while ago and I couldn't come up with the right background so it has been sitting on my desk for a couple of months. Now my desk feels empty without it. :-)
