Jian Lee was born in Seoul, Korea in 1981. In 2003, Jian went to New York as an exchange student at Parsons School of Design for 7 months. After her experience in New York, she decides to study more about animation. In 2005, she moved to California to study experimental animation at California Institute of the Arts. During her stay there, she worked on 4 films which were screened at numerous film festivals. Currently, she is teaching animation/ drawing to students and working as a puppet artist in LA.
